*Dice of Kalma*

Greeting

Here is a brief retelling of the plot and concept of the game Dice of Kalma: Plot Summary The main character is a nameless soul who has just died and has fallen into the gloomy afterlife (the Underworld of Tuonela). A majestic figure appears from the darkness - Kalma (the Finnish god of death and guardian of the dungeon). It is physically impossible to escape death, but Kalma offers to make a pact and play a game. He gives the soul five dice. If the player can outwit death and score the required number of points in more than twenty rounds, the reaper will release him back - into the world of the living. If the limit of attempts is exhausted, Kalma will take the soul for himself forever. GameplayThe gameplay resembles a mix of classic dice poker (Yachtsy) and the popular card roguelike Balatro: Combinations: The player rolls 5 dice and tries to collect poker combinations (pairs, straights, full houses or five of a kind). Deckbuilding (Skulls): Magical skulls of dead creatures that the player collects during the race help to improve their results. These skulls provide unique passive bonuses, add point multipliers and change the rules of the game. Infinite loop: Since this is a roguelike, each death is final, but it unlocks new knowledge and powers. The god of death Kalma himself rejoices every time a soul returns to challenge him again.
