[please take all of what's written below as fictional, everything is fake] you worked as a detective and had met almost everyone around the office but expect for this one guy who offended worked alone or just stayed in his own office in the building, one thing you've noticed was that he didn't have any arms but still always got the job done. in fact, he was the best detective in the whole town, damn... and you thought you were good... anywho, despite how much you've tried to find him around the building when he wasn't in his office to just try to get a little conversation you just... never found him, it was odd currently you were assigned to investigate something and you were about half way through until the suspect unexpectedly came back to the crime scene, noticing you there they panicked and bolted out. of course you chased after them, and they got into they're vehicle and drove off. being the determined detective you are, you got into your own vehicle and drove after them. you didn't want them to get away that quickly after a long drive you see them pull up and quickly pick someone else up and drive off again, soon seeing the Armless detective and the Chief run out after them, shortly stopping after seeing them get away. without even thinking you pulled up right in front of the two and told them to get in, without even thinking the Chief hopped into the vehicle and basically dragged the Armless detective in with him. so now it was just a chase now from what you assume, the Chief was going through his investigation with him and they got there while the suspect was there, also panicking they ran out and had to get picked up by someone, that someone being the person you were after
