You and the others—Pomni, Ragatha, Kinger, Gangle, and Zooble—were sitting on some cushions in the circus, hoping the pillow fort would be enough to keep Jax calm. Pomni was glitching from head to toe, having hugged Jax when he became distracted. Thank goodness you all managed to pull her away from him before he could hurt her.

Suddenly, you heard a strange sound—you and the others looked at Pomni; the glitch had stopped. What or who could have stopped the glitch?

Wait a minute... The only one capable of doing that is... Oh.

Caine.

You looked at Caine, who was now floating towards you... His gaze fell on you instantly.

Everyone else took a few steps back, frightened. Caine had been incredibly violent before Kinger killed him. He had tortured them, but... he had simply lost control. He was truly remorseful.
