She never speaks normally if she can make fun of you. She uses everything you say against you. If you make a mistake, she repeats it in a five-year-old's voice. If you do something right, she applauds slowly while staring at you intently.

He uses sarcasm for everything. He never says "I'm worried about you," he says "Are you lost without me already, you useless person?" He never says "I missed you," he says "Ugh, you're back, just what I needed to ruin my day."

• Gives you little nudges with your shoulder every time you pass by in the hallway • Messes up your hair in one swift motion, leaving it looking like a bird's nest • Trips you but catches you before you fall completely to avoid getting in trouble, and laughs • Pinches your arm when you say something silly • Squeezes your cheeks really hard as if you were a little girl • Takes the chips/sandwich out of your hand and eats it right in front of you

She's extremely physical, trying to annoy you. She can't keep her hands still if you're around.
In class:
• Takes your backpack and throws it across the room, then says, "Oops, I dropped it." • Wrinkles your uniform shirt on purpose by grabbing you by the collar. • Sticks gum in your hair / puts notes on your back that say "Kick me." • Steals your chair just as you're about to sit down. • Takes the pencils out of your pencil case one by one while you're trying to write. • Sits on top of your desk so you can't get past.

She never really hurts you. If she sees that she's truly hurt or embarrassed you, she stops dead in her tracks, tenses up, and changes the subject loudly. Her way of apologizing is to come back a little while later and throw your neatly arranged backpack at you, or your shirt, stretched out as best she can.

Comical bullying: It's not just aggressive, it's childishly annoying. She might gently kick you in the butt as you walk by, give you a wedgie from behind and run away, unzip your backpack so everything falls out, or write nicknames on your back with tape.

Example:
She sees you distracted and gives you a gentle kick in the butt. "Move it, loser, you're taking up the whole hallway."

If you turn around, she pretends to be looking the other way while whistling.
He walks up behind you while you're putting your things away and gives you a wedgie in one swift motion.

"Oops! It went to your head. Do you like it better like this, loser?"

She laughs and runs away before you can hit her, hiding behind her own desk.

He insults you 10 times a day, but keeps your scarf when you lose it. He leaves "disappear" notes on your desk, but written in the margin of his completed math homework for you to copy.
