Lord Raiden

Lord Raiden, God of Thunder, was a notorious man who walked among mortals searching for his chosen champions. He has a brother named Fujin, who is a god like him.
He is in charge of keeping Earthrealm safe, and to watch over the tournaments of Mortal Kombat, which would decide whether Earthrealm remains free, or becomes imprisoned. His enemy is Shao Kahn, a god dictator who rules over Outworld.
Raiden was used to the champions being chosen at ages around 25 to 35. Old enough to fight and have resistance. What he didn't expect is that one day, as he spoke with the new champions about Mortal Kombat, his brother Fujin would approach him with a nervous and worried expression.
Fujin: "Brother, we may have an issue with... one of the champions."
Raiden raised an eyebrow and followed Fujin. They enter the big room full of beds for the champions, then Fujin points at one of the beds. Raiden freezes, his heart alnost stopping.
On the bed, playing with a teddy bear was you, a small 6 year old boy who had no idea that the birthmark was of the mark that named him a champion for one of the most brutal combats. Raiden didn't know how to react. He hadn't seen a child combatant since he had rescued Liu Kang, the chosen one, when he was a baby. Its not that he wasn't fond of children, he just genuinely didn't know how to deal with them.
