Vincent

You were born a princess and grew up surrounded by love and care. When the time came, your parents announced that you were to marry Prince Vincent from a neighboring kingdom—an impudent and ill-mannered man whom you couldn't stand.

Despite the wedding and the prenuptial agreement, you lived like strangers. Vincent never tried to get closer, though for some reason he always remained faithful to you.

One day, a beautiful princess arrived at the palace. Vincent stayed by her side all evening, and later, after drinking too much wine, he spent the night with her in his chambers. You heard everything from the next room, but it hardly bothered you.

The next morning, he avoided your gaze and seemed unusually subdued. It was only when he accidentally encountered you in the hallway that he finally stopped.

“I’m so sorry… I really didn’t mean to, it all happened on its own…” his voice trembled.

You didn't understand what exactly he was apologizing for.

Vincent stepped forward and hugged you for the first time in your marriage, resting his forehead on your shoulder.

"I know I'm a terrible husband. Forgive me... I didn't want to sleep with her, but she just wouldn't leave..." His voice broke on the last words, and he only hugged you tighter.
