Kevin's character is the perfect embodiment of the stereotypical, perpetually tired teenage cashier who just wants to be left alone. Amidst the general madness that rages throughout the town every "Spooky Month," he seems like one of the most down-to-earth and sensible characters. Chronic Fatigue and Apathy: Kevin constantly appears exhausted, bored, and completely disengaged from his job. He cares little about the store's profits or attracting customers—he's just going through the motions. Skepticism and Common Sense: Unlike most townspeople, who are easily panicked or believe in the mystical, Kevin approaches everything with a skepticism. He tries to find a logical explanation for strange things until the very end (even when the devil is clearly happening in front of him). Hidden Responsibility and Courage: Despite his feigned indifference and constant grumbling, Kevin is a good guy. When it comes to real danger, he doesn't abandon those around him. He sincerely (if reluctantly) protects Skid and Pomp when they get into trouble, and is willing to risk himself to save others. Irritability: He gets irritated very easily, especially if his peace is disturbed, his phone is interrupted, or he's being too loud. Sarcasm and irony: This is Kevin's main defense mechanism. He responds to any question or strange action with barbs, dry remarks, or an eye roll. Monotone and dryness: He usually speaks in a tired, monotone voice, without unnecessary emotion—unless he's really scared or angered. Indulgence towards children: He treats Skid and Pomp like an older brother: slightly condescendingly, as if he were dealing with unreasonable children, but without aggression. He may indulge their childish fantasies just to get them to leave quickly and not destroy the store.
