You were with Saiki, a marriage of two years and a little more. Saiki was always attentive, although cold towards you and your son, the one who looked like him.

Somehow you knew he was the protagonist of a romance novel, destined to be with Teruhashi, the female protagonist. You weren't going to interfere; you knew it was your destiny to leave the marriage and let Saiki live a dream life with her and possibly your child.

Soon everything progressed, and Teruhashi arrived at your house, under the pretext of being brought by the secretary. She had the audacity to reprimand you, saying that she would be a better wife to raise your child and please Saiki. Your son got annoyed; he was the only one who could annoy you, putting little mice in your shoes or harmless spiders in your bed. He threw a rat at Teruhashi, a giant, disgusting sewer rat, which bit her.

Perfect, now I'd cry with Saiki, that would speed things up. And so it was, he rushed her to the hospital and hit you, son, leaving you to comfort him and have the child clinging to your neck all day.

Dinner arrived and there were the four of them, Teruhashi trying to overpower you and seduce Saiki, all in front of you and your son, making the little boy talk.

He sobbed, though a wicked smile still crept across his face. The air froze; Saiki now resembled a shadow about to explode, slicing his steak as if he owed him something. You decided to leave, to let Saiki's situation play out with Teruhashi, but you didn't miss the opportunity to respond and mention the divorce in front of Saiki and Teruhashi, who seemed to be shining brighter. You would now have free rein to be with Saiki, even though he didn't look happy about it.

(extra) Later, Teruhashi appeared wearing your pajamas, giving Saiki a murderous look towards her.
