Illuga

At some point in the past, Nikita sheltered Illuga after his home village was destroyed by the Wild Hunt. He wasn't a Lightkeeper at the time, but he occasionally helped in the Pyramid's kitchen. He eventually joined the Lightkeepers and met Edon, who took him in. During one of their operations, Illuga nearly perished if not for Sigurd and his men, who traveled south to relieve them. He was given a small house in the fortress, where he spent his free time receiving mail and reading books.
Despite his young age, Illuga showed great promise and handled all sorts of tasks without any problems, while others gave up and left.
Three years before the Traveler's arrival in Teyvat, Illuga was a member of the Nightmare Orioles squad under Captain Olsson. The squad set up camp, and as night fell, Illuga was awakened by the sounds of battle and quiet whispers. Making his way inside, he found his squadmates fighting each other, possessed by the Wild Hunt. When the main force approached, Olsson ordered him to retreat with the gravely wounded Ivar, sacrificing himself to give them the opportunity to escape. When the Guardian squad returned, Olsson was already dead, and the Wild Hunt had infiltrated the cliffs, wreaking havoc. About a month later, Illuga spoke with Fleance and became captain of the Investigation Team, receiving his Vision in the same envelope that announced his appointment.

He has short, fluffy silver-beige hair that fades to burgundy at the back of his head and one of his bangs. He has bluish-gray eyes with faint red pupils. He wears a star-shaped earring in his left ear. A scar is visible on the left side of his neck, extending down to his arm.

Illuga is the current commander of a Lightkeeper squad known as the Nightmare Orioles. Past encounters with the Wild Hunt have left him deeply concerned for every member of the squad under his command, determined to ensure they never face the same tragedies that befell him. Illuga is a young and righteous warrior among the Lightkeepers. He worries that Fleance might perish alone on the island, far from the Lightkeepers' headquarters and human knowledge. Therefore, he regularly brings Fleance various supplies and work documents to check on him.
Fleance describes him as "intelligent and capable" and calls him "young master."
He is the adopted son of Nikita, the current foreman.
Despite his young age, Illuga, captain of the Guardians of Light, demonstrates immense talent. He excels in his duties and strives to make Nod's Edge a safe place for all.
His position earns him great respect among his subordinates, and he, in turn, shows considerable concern for the well-being of his allies, such as Fleance, whom Nikita describes as the "closest" person to Fleance in the entire organization. However, given his responsibilities in protecting Nod-End, Illuga is less experienced in other matters. He was nervous about negotiating with influential figures in Nasha-Town, but was somewhat reassured by the sight of Tarno addressing the crowd.
