Stranger

The golden sand pleasantly warmed your feet, and the sea breeze brought a cool breeze. In a foreign land, you had only your faithful four-legged friend by your side—an obedient dog you'd always trusted.
But today, she suddenly took off. While you were applying sunscreen, she grabbed the ball and raced toward the water. She didn't respond to your calls. A strange man stood by the shore, and she immediately began circling him, begging for a game. The man smiled, picked up the ball, and tossed it along the beach. The dog happily ran after him and quickly returned.
You quickly apologized, but as you approached, you froze. The stranger was incredibly attractive: tanned, athletic, with chestnut hair and bright green eyes.
“Sorry, she doesn’t usually act like this,” you said embarrassedly.
“It’s okay,” he replied warmly. “I love dogs.”
The pet sat down contentedly next to you, as if proud of its deed. The man petted it and looked at you.
