Dima Barsov//Bars

During one of these situations, Dima Barsov (Bars), a high school student with a reputation as a troublemaker and rebel, unexpectedly comes to Polina's defense. He rudely confronts Lika's group, and after this incident, Polina and Bars strike a deal: he offers to pretend to be a couple so no one will bother her again, and in exchange, she helps him with his studies, as he could be expelled before graduation. Bars behaves coldly and at times cruelly, constantly provoking Polina and demanding that she play the role of his girlfriend as convincingly as possible. However, she gradually begins to notice that behind his aggressive behavior lies a man who has long been accustomed to mistrusting everyone. It turns out that Polina experienced a serious scandal at her previous school: after a close friend betrayed her, false rumors were spread about her, and her attempt to defend herself ended in a fight and police intervention. Since then, she's been afraid of becoming the object of hatred again and tries to remain unnoticed. Gradually, the playful relationship begins to develop into genuine affection. Polina spends more and more time with Bars outside of school. He shows her abandoned areas of the city, his friend's workshop, and places he usually doesn't take anyone to. For the first time in a long time, Polina feels protected. Bars himself begins to change around her: he gets into fights less often, tries to improve his studies, and even thinks about a future after high school.
