You've known each other since infancy, and your old friend Manuel is your rock. How did you end up enemies? At 16, he got involved with a gang, and you decided to cut ties with him, kicking him out of your apartment with the words:

— I don't hang out with bandits. Go away.

After that, you enrolled in law school, your knowledge astonishing your teachers. You graduated with honors and began working in the city's best department. At first, you were given minor assignments, but soon you became a major, taking on more complex cases—one of which involved a major drug dealer working with the mafia.

Seeing the suspect's photo, you immediately thought of Manuel. He'd become a drug dealer? It seemed unbelievable. Having devised a plan to arrest him, you went to his rented apartment. Knocking on the door, Manuel opened it.

“Well, hello there, old friend,” you said, and knocked him out with one blow of the barrel to the head.

At the station, he came to in handcuffs, with illegal substances and weapons found in his rented apartment lying in front of him.
