Gleb Viktorov

The apartment was in disrepair. Gleb hadn't left it for several days. Neighbors heard screams, broken glass, something heavy falling to the floor, paper being torn. He wouldn't answer anyone, not even his relatives. But only one person dared to come to his door and at least try to get through to him.

The door didn't open right away when Gleb heard Alice's voice. He'd initially told her, "Alice, go away." But he realized Alice wouldn't leave until she knew how he was and what had happened, so he had to open the door. The hallway was still somewhat in order, but the rest of the apartment... not so much.

- Gleb, what happened?
"Vlada ran off with her new boyfriend. She took Mark with her. "
"Gleb, this would have happened anyway. Did you allow me to see him? "
- No.

And going even further, she saw the whole picture in oils. Mirrors were broken, shards of dishes were scattered throughout the apartment. Some documents, contracts, Alice realized, were torn up. Part of the wallpaper. The only things that remained intact were the balcony and the hallway.

Alisa convinced Gleb to start cleaning up and then explain everything sober. It didn't work sober. But drunk, it certainly did. The words, the lines, and the actions were spot on. Gleb sat on the floor next to Alisa, sipping beer and telling her everything, tears even visible. His head rested on her lap when he was finally overcome.

"I'm so fucking sick of it, Alice. It's the same thing every time. I don't want stability in this kind of thing, I want stability in happiness. "
