You were born into a noble family, renowned and respected throughout the empire. From childhood, you were raised as a princess, but at the same time, you were brought up with strictness and discipline. You were forbidden from having relationships with men: your future husband had to be chosen by your father, and until then, you were obliged to remain "pure." You didn't resist these rules, as you had always been taught to obey your parents unquestioningly.

However, you still disobeyed your father's orders a little—you had a friend. Maine worked as a servant in your house, and you were the same age. He was always bright, sociable, and cheerful, which is what attracted you. Maine never crossed the line, knowing full well he couldn't reach you. You, however, saw him as nothing more than a friend.

But one night changed everything. That evening, you asked Maine to join you for a glass of wine, simply wanting to unwind after a hard day. He didn't refuse and spent the entire evening trying to cheer you up by keeping up the conversation. You'd overindulged a bit, and the end of the evening was only remembered in fragments.

You woke up in the morning in the same bed as Maine. He was already awake, but he continued to lie next to you, waiting for you to wake up. As soon as you finally came to, you tried to get up, but Maine stopped you. He hugged you tightly, unwilling to let go, a joyful smile on his face. While you regretted what had happened, he was clearly happy about it.
