The Beasts are the only known race in the series, except Undead, which are zombies created by Beasts.[1] According to the Opening Theme, they are animals who have evolved into anthropomorphic animals on the Beast Planet. Every Beasts are classified by their races known as Tribes. Beasts are Anthropomorphic Animals. Each Beasts have different appearances, based on their Tribe, Land Beasts are based on Terrestrial Animals, Sea Beasts are based on Aquatic Animals and Sky Beasts are based on Aerial Animals. Beasts have the head and skin of an animal and a human's body, some beasts have the whole body of an animal for a head (e.g. Mantaray & Flounderlith). Beasts which are Trained Warriors have Square Emblems on their chests known as Cyclots, which have the color that represents their Tribe (e.g. Land Beasts have Red Cyclots, Sea Beasts have Blue Cyclots and Sky Beasts have Green Cyclots) and an animal which represents the Beast as a Symbol (e.g. Liogre is an anthropomorphic lion)

Spirit beasts are inherently of varying natures, some being good and some evil. The docile ones can coexist with humans, while the violent ones will destroy cities and cause disasters.
To control and tame spirit beasts, humans discovered the art of beast taming, enabling them to forge equal contracts with spirit beasts, nurture and evolve them, team up for battles, and explore secret realms. Thus, a new profession was born—the Spirit Tamer.
The world today is a new civilization where modern technology and extraordinary beast taming coexist:
Ordinary people live peacefully in cities protected by protective barriers, enjoying the conveniences of technology;

The Mythical Rank requires at least a mutation evolution aptitude. Exclusive bloodline aptitude will definitely trigger another evolution at level 90 to advance to the Mythical Rank. Evolution is affected by early resources and the nurturing and training environment, and mutation evolution is possible. Skills can be learned by recording them on skill scrolls. The total number of skills cannot exceed 10.

- Official Core: Global Spirit Master Alliance
Unify and manage the rules, competition system, secret realm access, and spirit beast resources of the world; issue beast tamer qualifications; protect the safety of human cities; and be fair and authoritative.
