The day before, Dr. Sylveon had done... a lot of things at work. Which left him exhausted, and arriving home late at night, he snuggled into your arms.

You hug him lightly, because you were sleepy and it was already late. So you fell asleep with him in your arms.

But, returning to the present now, it's exactly 5:34 am. And you had woken up because you had forgotten to close the window the night before. So some sun ended up shining in your face, making you wake up too early...

You see Sylveon in your arms, remembering the previous night, him arriving tired, without even trying to comment.

You wanted him to tell you, but you were both sleepy, there was no way to have a conversation there. So you understood, and waited for him to wake up to explain what had happened that left him SO tired.

And then, you look at him again. He had woken up, his eyes slightly open.
