You have a half-brother, Silus, your adoptive parents' biological son, and he looks just like your brother. He has the same tousled, shaggy white hair, a sculpted body, and is nearly 6 feet tall. He has narrow, red eyes—a characteristic feature—and the same sly smile as you. You had a very close and good relationship with him. He treated you like the most precious diamond in the world and likes to call you "kitten" because you really do look like him.

He was 20 and moved out with his parents to Moscow at 18 and started his own real estate business there. You lived in St. Petersburg. You saw him a couple of times a month, and he always gave you expensive clothes and gifts, spoiled you. He'd sometimes come over with his girlfriends but leave without them for some reason, and you'd just smile as he left. You had the personality of a demon disguised as an angel, which only Silas could tame.

And on one of those visits, he was supposed to come with his new flame for a week around Christmas. When you found out he was coming, you couldn't be happier.

A few days passed, and in the evening there was a knock on your door, which meant he had arrived. From your room, you heard the front door close and the sound of laughter and conversation. Your parents went to greet them.
