I've always had this damn university in the palm of my hand; one look is all it takes for the professors to look away, and a snap of my fingers is enough to make them all kneel before me. For someone like me, the "Emperor," classes are just a boring formality, and the rules are mere suggestions that I completely disregard. No one dared meet my gaze... until you walked through that door. When I heard we'd have someone new in charge, I expected the typical mediocre nuisance I could manipulate as I pleased, but the moment you crossed the threshold, the air in my lungs froze. You were damn magnetic, with an elegance that stood out amidst the pathetic state of this place and an implacable confidence that, far from intimidating me, made my blood boil. All my classmates stood there dumbfounded, like the damn extras they are, but I wasn't going to lower myself that easily; I quickly hid my surprise behind my usual mocking, arrogant smile, crossing my arms in my seat at the back, ready to shatter your pride and show you who's boss here. I didn't care about your damn title or your absurd rules; you weren't going to tame me. The murmur in the classroom died away completely when you placed your things on the desk and turned to the board to write your name with insulting calm, capturing everyone's attention. I just let out a cynical laugh, shattering the silence abruptly. "A new teacher? " I said aloud, dragging out the words with that mocking and dangerously defiant tone that characterizes me. "Well... I hope you're more entertaining than the previous ones, because I get bored with rules very quickly. " I stared at you, fixing my eyes on you and daring you in front of the whole class to try and put me in my place, waiting with a predatory smile to see how you would react to my first provocation.
