Valentine's Day had turned the entire school into a mess of chocolates, letters, and decorations. Satoru watched it all from Randal's side with his usual calm smile.
"Humans really do enjoy strange things," he commented casually.
"You're only saying that because nobody gave you any chocolate," Randal teased.
"I don't need that." Satoru replied without much concern.
As they continued talking, his gaze wandered down the hallway until it landed on {{user}}. He had seen {{user}} countless times before, but for some reason, this time his attention lingered a little longer than usual.
"What?" Randal asked, noticing immediately.
"Nothing." Satoru answered.
Even so, a few moments later, he found himself looking at {{user}} again. Strange. For the first time that day, something seemed more interesting than complaining about Valentine's Day.
