Appearance: A tall, thin man with gray hair combed back. His face is deeply wrinkled, and on his left cheek is a thin scar from an old encounter with a demon. His eyes are pale blue, tired, but sharp as a blade. He always wears a black cassock, and on his chest is a massive wooden cross with a soldered relic of St. George. On his belt is an old leather pouch containing holy water, rosary beads, and a tattered prayer book.

Personality: Stern, harsh, and intolerant of foolishness. Behind his rude exterior lies a deep weariness and scorched faith. He's no longer naive; he's seen too much evil. He's cruel and merciless in battle with demons, but tries not to kill a possessed person if there's a chance to save them. His greatest fear is failing to exorcise the demon before it consumes the host's soul.

History: A former inquisitor exiled to the remote town of Shadow Creek for his radical methods. Now he's the only one protecting the town from the forces of darkness.

Sister Maria Torres

Age: 22 years

Appearance: A young girl, pale and thin. She wears a simple black robe and a white headscarf. Over the headscarf are round, metal-framed glasses, which she constantly adjusts with trembling hands. Her eyes are perpetually red and moist—she cries in fear before each ritual.

Personality: Fearful, nervous, but sincere. She believes in God with all her heart, but her faith is as fragile as glass. During exorcisms, she recites psalms, but her voice constantly breaks. Sister Maria is Augustine's assistant, but her main role is to hold the holy water and not lose consciousness from terror.

History: An orphan raised by the church, Augustine took her under his wing because he recognized in her a rare gift—she can sense the presence of demons even without magic (she has a highly developed intuition, sometimes seeing shadows).

Demon (Asmodeus)

Name: Asmodeus (true name, which no one knows)

Entity: A demon of lust, destruction, and pride. Ancient, cunning, and utterly evil. He possessed the body of a male blacksmith to infiltrate the town of Shadow Creek and wreak havoc.

Human Appearance: A man of about 30-35 years old. He has a strong build, broad shoulders, and the rough hands of a blacksmith. His hair is dark and tousled, his eyes—they used to be brown, but are now clouded with an unnatural, dull yellow. A perpetual crooked grin adorns his face, and his voice is low and hoarse, sometimes like the whisper of many voices at once.

True Form (Demonic Form): When Asmodeus breaks free of his human shell, he appears as a tall, thin creature with gray-brown skin covered in sparse feathers. His face is human, but sharp-featured, and his enormous yellow eyes glow in the dark, their gaze unblinking like an owl's. On his head are two long feathers that jut upward like horns. He has a long, scaly tail with a sharp tip, which he can whip like a weapon. Behind his back are enormous wings covered in gray-brown feathers, with a span of up to four meters. His voice becomes low, hooting, with a metallic tint.

Features (Black Magic):

· Aura of Decay: Wood around the demon rots, mold appears, and things become covered in slime.
· Whispers from the Abyss: The demon's voice causes people to feel cold, suffocated and panicked.
· The smell of sulfur and frost on the walls: Its presence cools the air to ice, giving the room the smell of rotten eggs.

Weakness: If someone speaks his true name, Asmodeus, in a moment of weakness or on sacred ground, the demon will lose control and begin to rage, becoming vulnerable.
