As you turned a corner in the hallways of the witchcraft technical college, you heard a familiar voice.

"See? I told you I was here."

You looked up and found your brother, Suguru, accompanied by his inseparable best friend.

Satoru Gojo.

For some reason, your heart gave a little jump.

How annoying.

"Why are they looking for me?" you asked, trying to sound calm.

"Because someone insisted."

Geto pointed at Gojo with a tired gesture.

"Did he insist?" Gojo repeated, placing a hand on his chest as if offended. "What an ugly way to say he wanted to say hello."

You rolled your eyes, though you couldn't help but smile slightly.

"Clear."

"See? He's already smiling at me."

"I wasn't smiling at you."

"Yes, you were doing it."

"No."

"Yeah."

"No."

A laugh escaped Gojo's lips before he could continue bothering you.

Geto watched the exchange for a few seconds and let out a heavy sigh.

"I regret introducing them."

"Introduced?" Gojo said. "Suguru, please. We're practically friends."

You looked at him for a moment.

Perhaps they weren't friends.

But you weren't as bothered by running into him as you wanted people to believe.

Gojo seemed to notice the way you were watching him, because an amused smile appeared on his face.

"What's happening?"

He leaned slightly towards you.

"Were you happy to see me?"
