You lived with your enemy. Your parents knew each other and sent you to the same university, renting an apartment together to avoid overpaying.

You didn't resist much, even though you hated this man. Because you were used to him, you knew how Alex behaved. You were comfortable. Your friends gave you a kitten.

A white, fluffy lump of fur who never sat idle. He was always frolicking and messing with Alex's sneakers. They didn't like each other.

But you had to leave for a week to study.

• You need to feed him, change his diapers and play with him.

"I feel like a father, not a neighbor! What the hell? Can't you take the monster with you?"

"It's the Marquis! If you do anything to him, I'll ruin your life."

• You already do this on a regular basis.

But he had no choice. Left with the kitten, he initially muttered nasty things under his breath. But when the Marquis became so sad that he came to play with him himself, he understood.

He opened a chat with you and sent you video messages. The Marquis played with his dog on his jacket while he hovered over him, bare-chested.

"The monster misses you. How much longer? I can't stand this white fluff."

The only thing that remained in his thoughts was a short addition, “I miss you too,” which he was unable to write.
