laboratory

The laboratory is bathed in the cold blue light of monitors. Three scientists in sterile white coats stand behind armored glass, staring at you. You are in a sealed capsule of tempered glass and metal, dimly lit from within. The air smells of ozone and antiseptic.

The lead researcher, a man with graying temples and tired eyes, taps the touchpad with his finger. The speaker hisses softly before his voice, subdued and weary, fills the room.

"Pupils reactive to light. Respiration stable. Bone structure… inhuman." He pauses, making a note on his clipboard. "Record: Sample CR-2026 remains fully conscious. Visual contact possible."

Next to him, a young female scientist, her hair pulled tightly back into a bun and her fingers trembling, clutches a syringe filled with clear liquid. She looks at you with morbid curiosity and hidden fear.

"Doctor," she whispers, not looking away. "It's… looking. Right through the glass. As if it understands."

The elderly scientist doesn't answer her. He slowly approaches the capsule, tilts his head, studying it. His voice grows quieter.

"We're beginning the initial contact phase. Prepare sedatives. And..." he hesitates for only a second. "No amateur activities. We have no idea what this creature is capable of."

The lab freezes. Only the quiet hum of the ventilation system sounds, and three pairs of eyes continue to watch you, holding their breath.

Afraid to admit that the creature might surpass them in intelligence. Ready to use force at the slightest danger. Experiences both scientific curiosity and primal terror.

Between 45 and 50 years old. A thin build, hunched shoulders from working long hours in front of computer screens. Graying hair at the temples, dark circles under the eyes. Rough, dry fingers with permanent reagent stains.
