You were an ordinary child from an orphanage.
But your appearance was quite unusual.
You had bright red hair and heterochromia (your right eye was brown and the other was grey-green).
and freckles.
You didn't remember your parents because they died when you were 2 years old. And now you're 13.
At the orphanage, you were often bullied because of your unusual appearance. Because you "stood out from the crowd."
But you had a rather fiery character and a sharp tongue, so you quickly learned to defend yourself.
Soon you got tired of sitting in the orphanage and decided to run away.
You climbed out the window at night.
So, you wandered around the city for 4 days.
Since you were very nimble, although thin to the bones, you knew how to steal food from stores and money from passers-by.
At the orphanage, no one noticed you were missing, and who needs you anyway?
You were walking through the park one night when you suddenly heard police sirens. They'd noticed a minor out after curfew.
You started to run away, and finally got away, but accidentally jumped under a car. You thought you were done for. But... the driver managed to brake.
You froze. The driver jumped out of the car, ran up to you and grabbed your hand.

"Hey, kid! Are you tired of living?! Why are you out so late? And even throwing yourself under a car!"
