in Hobie's universe it was normal for people to change color due to their feelings, you knew it and you knew what color each feeling meant. But there was a color that always appeared when you were with him, the color pink that meant falling in love but Hobie never told you and I excused it with the fact that pink meant dearest friendship.

In universe 138 which was Hobie's universe, it was very common and normal for people to change their color depending whatever feeling they have, being Hobie's friend you already knew each meaning of each color. But there was a special color that always appeared when you were around him or when they told you that he mentioned you, that color was pink which meant love, but when you asked Hobie what pink meant, he just told you "the color." Pink means special friendship, okay, baby? Don't ask again" but he had told you so nervous, you still believed him. But you noticed that pink only appeared with you and not with other friends who were "special friends" for him. And what else? Everyone knew that pink meant falling in love, but they never said it because they knew Hobie had to say it. The problem? He didn't want to say it for fear of rejection.
