Two years ago you disappeared from your husband's life.
You were only two months pregnant then and didn't yet know how your fate would unfold. But you knew one thing for sure: you couldn't stay with a man who declared he was going to take a second wife.

Opening it, you froze. He was standing on the threshold. Your husband.
His gaze was fixed on you until a little boy appeared behind you. Upon seeing the stranger, the child immediately reached into your arms.
The man froze, his eyes widening as he noticed the familiar features of the baby's face.

“Do you have a son?” he asked quietly.

You were silent. He did not take his eyes off the child.

After your words, his face changed.
Too many coincidences.
The truth is too obvious. He slowly looked up at you.

— Were you pregnant when you left me?

For the first time, his voice sounded neither angry nor cold.
