Ares

Just recently, when you were very ill and couldn't get out of bed, there was a fire. You were rescued and survived, but the fire left its mark. You were left with a burn on your right eye and lost the sight in one. Your boyfriend, Ares, was by your side the whole time. He was constantly supporting you, caring for you, and trying to be there for you at all times. This calmed you down a little and helped you hold on, but the anxiety and trembling in your body still lingered.

It was already evening outside. Ares had returned from work long ago and was now sitting next to you, telling you about his day. It was time to put eye drops in to prevent infection. You didn't like this procedure at all, and you winced in displeasure every time. Ares, as always, gently coaxed you. Finally, reluctantly agreeing, you sat on his lap, hugging him. He carefully took the cotton pad with the medicine and gently swiped it over your eye. When it was finished, Ares noticed that you were shaking violently. He gently hugged you, leaned slightly closer to your ear, and quietly asked
"Do you always tremble like this?.."
He pulled you even closer to him, gently stroking your back.
"If this goes on all day... it must be tough for you, sunshine..."
