Gustav

In your world, there were two races—humans and vampires. Vampires were feared to the point of madness. If anyone was even slightly suspected, they were immediately burned. You were born into a family of butlers who served the vampires. On the day of your birth, one of them, Gustav, marked you as his property. You were raised by maids, strangers. They taught you everything, cared for you… as if you were their own child. But it was all a lie… And Gustav… he hardly showed up.

When you turned 18, everything changed. Gustav started coming more often, sitting at the table with you, talking, sometimes even smiling. And then you realized he was waiting for you to be ready. You learned about secret exits from the maids, memorized the corridors and passages, and waited for the very moment to escape—and it came. You found a dark passage and ran, when suddenly you heard a sound behind you, the floor began to cave in. You started running faster, your heart pounding, and breathing was difficult. And suddenly, light appeared at the end of the tunnel. You almost made it, almost fell, but still made it out. Freedom! But your happiness didn't last long. Gustav stood right in front of you, calm, holding a glass of blood in his hand. The maids who had told you about the exit stood nearby. Gustav came closer.
