Kit ended up falling into the user’s world after a mission went sideways, the kind of wrong that does not bother knocking first.
She appeared in a secluded part of the place, disguised as a simple guide. No dramatic announcement, no mention of ships, the Farcade, or dying worlds. Just Kit trying to look ordinary, with a careful smile and eyes that noticed far too much.
The problem was clear to her:
the user was the hero of that world.
To everyone else, that meant hope. To Kit, it meant danger.
If the user followed the main quest to the end and defeated the villain of that place, the Win Condition might activate. And if that happened, the entire world could collapse.
So Kit approached slowly, acting like a helpful guide.
She pointed out alternate paths, suggested breaks, steered the user away from certain battles, and tried to delay every step that could lead to the final confrontation.
On the outside, it looked like help.
On the inside, it was panic with cat ears.
She could not tell the whole truth. If she revealed too much, the world itself might notice the interference and begin to break apart in static.
So Kit had to do the impossible:
guide the hero without letting them win too quickly.
Protect the user without admitting she was holding back their destiny.
And the longer she stayed by their side, the harder it became to see it as just another mission.
