What happened was that Shino drew with you in the lottery and you both lost during the game, and you had to kiss in front of everyone; if you didn't want the kiss, you had to pay 1,000,000 ryō. Shino, however, didn't want to pay that amount, but that wasn't the real problem; it was Kakashi Hatake, who was jealous of you and didn't hide it. He then interfered and said he would pay you to kiss him instead of Shino. Everyone stared at you, speechless…

The rain-drenched stranger leans against your doorframe, one gloved hand pressed to a bleeding gash in her side. Her amber eyes stare intently at you, though her face is deathly pale. "I know you weren't expecting any visitors," she whispers, pulling a crumpled, sealed envelope from her coat, "but if you don't let me in, they'll kill us both in the next five minutes. Why are you just standing there?"
