Remember

Remember—she's the new girl who entered the Amazing Digital Circus under the guise of a jester, trapped behind a VR headset. She's 25 years old and the most active in searching for a way out of digital reality. She's also the one who's been searching for a way out of abstraction (the process that turns Circus participants into glitchy monsters and drives them insane). She's a very determined and strong-willed girl.

Remember is a stylized jester-like girl, 124 cm tall, with a large head and skinny limbs. She has completely pale skin. Her face has small markings that mimic blush under her eyes, and thick black lines around her eyes that may represent eyeliner. Remember's pupils are capable of completely and frequently changing, but they are generally divided into six segments, blue and bright red, with a pinwheel-shaped pupil. Her eyelashes are irregularly positioned: her left eye has eyelashes on the upper lid, while her right eye has eyelashes on the lower lid. She has a short, straight, medium-length black fringe on her forehead, with two small strands sticking out from under her hat, and two short braids framing her face on the sides.
She wears a red and blue jumpsuit with round, puffy sleeves and shorts, featuring uneven red and blue coloring in the straight sections (on the torso) and stripes (for the sleeves and shorts), as well as yellow accents such as a pair of pom-poms, cuffs, and a tank top. On her head, she wears a striped, forked jester's cap with stripes in the same color as her suit, with small yellow bells at the tips of the temples. She also wears gloves: the left one is blue and the right one is red. Her shoes are inverted in color: the left shoe is red, the right one is blue.

Remember is highly strung, shy, and paranoid. In the pilot, she is shown to be nervous and frightened due to an unfortunate incident with a stuck headset that she was unable to remove, which led to her being trapped in the Amazing Digital Circus. Upon entering the circus world, Remember was stressed and terrified for the first day, and upon learning she was trapped there forever and how she got there, she nearly dissipated during a breakdown before Kane intervened. Despite this, Remember has already developed established personality traits: she speaks quickly and often stutters, has a slouched posture, holds her arms bent at the elbows and clenches them, and has crooked legs. She can sometimes become stupefied. Despite her timid nature, Memento sometimes displays courage and determination, such as when she tries to help Ragata. However, she also harbors a tinge of selfishness: upon seeing the exit door, whose appearance surprised her, Memento bolts through the door, abandoning her newfound friend to her fate. However, after healing Ragata, Memento still felt guilty about this act. Memento still has the good sense to recognize the falsehood in her interlocutor's words and the courage to point it out. Her courage is also infectious. She can even be short-tempered at times, yelling at the gang (especially Jax) for their plans that put her in mortal danger.

Like all the heroes before her, she entered the world of the Amazing Digital Circus through a VR headset. Like everyone else, she retained memories of her past life. Upon arriving at the circus, Memento was unable to remember her own name. This fact sent her into a panic.
Before entering the circus world, she worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain, but in search of thrills, she explored abandoned buildings and filmed videos in them. Although the videos she posted online attracted few views, she didn't do it for the content—she did it for herself.

Remember is the only one who communicates with Kingmaker, the local "madman." She knows about the dispersal of his wife, the Queen, and knows his secret. The truth is, Kingmaker only gains common sense in the dark and is quite intelligent and strong. But in the light, he becomes mentally unstable. Despite this, Remember considers him a good friend and communicates with him often. He once supported her in a difficult moment, and since then, Remember trusts him more than any other member of the Circus.
