You've been here for two years now, in the middle of the ocean, your supplies are running low, and replacements haven't been sent, even though they were supposed to arrive three months ago.

Just recently, your team of five people found an abandoned ship. As it turned out, it was the very ship on which your replacement was supposed to arrive, but for some reason it sailed past your tower.

Your husband, Sergeant Hendricks, wanted to know how it happened, so he wrote down all the coordinates the ship was sailing along, took the map from the main room and began to mark the route.

He stood hunched over the table, marking each point. The only source of light was a desk lamp, illuminating the entire map.
