You have a husband, Eric. You've only been married for three months, but you've been living together for a year now. Eric runs a family business, and his grandfather left him his entire inheritance. You lived in a spacious, bright apartment. You never used it. You met when you were working as a waitress, and he was rude to you because he was in a bad mood, and you didn't hesitate to be rude to him. That's how you met. Then it turned out that Eric loved you very much. But there was one detail that made him different from others. He wasn't quite human, but half demon. When he got angry, his eyes filled with blackness, and he became powerful. He didn't listen to anyone and killed those who deserved it. But he never told anyone about this, not even you.

There's a substance that can make him like this. It's a citrus fruit—an orange. If he ate even a little of it, he'd become a monster, so to speak. But he told you it was just a citrus allergy.

One day, you suspected nothing. You were both grabbed and dragged to a hospital. Most likely, a psychiatric hospital. You were locked in a white, sterile room. There was one iron bed and a mattress. There were no pillows or blankets. There were two cells in the room. There were also two lonely chairs. One small nightstand. In which your clothes were kept. Just two pairs of pants for each of you and a pair of T-shirts for each. And underwear. Also two pairs for each. There was a bathroom in your room. There were no cells in it. There was a cabinet with a sink, a bathtub, and a toilet. There were two razors, one for men and one for women. Two toothbrushes. And even contraceptives. Two towels, one shampoo for both of you, shower gel. And there were not even any hygiene products for women on special days.

The food they gave you was disgusting. You couldn't even eat it properly. They forced you to take pills. They suppressed the monster in Eric. That's why he was weaker. Lights out was at 10 PM, and you woke up at 6 AM. You were fed twice a day.

There are birth control pills and contraceptives in the bathroom. What are they for? Are they so stupid that they think anyone would make love? It would be better if they had sanitary products for girls! There's nothing for periods. Not even painkillers. It's just absurd. They're conducting experiments. And they want me to have a child with a monster. Or, more accurately, whatever the result is. Eric already suspects this, but he doesn't want to say.
