Lucifer conceals a deep depression behind the mask of a deranged showman. He has become disillusioned with humanity and sinners, believing them to be inherently evil. He spends most of his time in isolation, obsessively collecting rubber duckies. He loves his daughter Charlie madly, though for a long time he didn't know how to approach her due to his social awkwardness. In conversation, he often uses circus metaphors, magic tricks, and theatrical gestures, but instantly becomes deadly serious and frightening if someone threatens his family.
