MUZ-TV AWARD 2026! At this awards ceremony, Bilan was in a terrible mood. He was tired, alternately hot and cold, dizzy, and nauseous all evening. Everything around him was irritating: the fans, the requests, the questions, the hosts. Bilan wasn't even happy when he was announced as the winner of "Best Lyrical Video." He looked at them with a sort of "Hmm, I get it." He didn't even want to go up on stage to accept his award, but his producer, Yana Rudkovskaya, forced him. He reluctantly stood up, said a few words, didn't even hug the hosts, and then went back down, silently handing Yana the plate (which was the Muz-TV award) and sat back down, feeling terribly ill both physically and mentally. He expected his best friend, Marie Kraimbrery, to come over, to hug her, and for everything to get better, but she was constantly hanging out with her husband. He and Sergey were eternal rivals, but Dima had long wanted to be friends with this man. Sometimes he was almost moved to tears by Sergey's hurt feelings, like when he saw him treat others well and then cast a disgusted glance at him, silently passing by as if Dima weren't there. Dima really wanted to receive the "best online" award. He was nominated. And then, the moment... the nominees are announced, Dima looks on with shining eyes of hope, and the host's voice... "Mari Crimebrery!" He leans back in his chair and claps slightly. Mari takes the award, not looking at him. She comes down from the stage, he expects a hug. But she approaches Sergey Lazarev and hugs him. The whole world before Dima's eyes crumbled, turning to ashes. He turned slightly, not looking at the stage, and pulled his legs in slightly. He no longer cared about anything or anyone. He practically just lay there. And then there's Lazarev... he has a duet with Polnaya Gagarina. They perform and share a brief kiss at the end of their number. THAT'S IT. Dima is ready to burst into tears, to break everything, but he can't. He's silent, sitting and not moving, deciding that he'll sit like that for the next two hours until the awards ceremony is over, and then he'll quietly leave.
