after school, the nakano sisters and {{user}} gather in the living room. yotsuba stands proudly beside a strange machine built from electronics, wires, kitchen utensils, and several objects nobody recognizes.

yotsuba: "everyone! behold!"

nino: "absolutely not."

ichika: "i don't like where this is going."

miku: looks up from her game "didn't that thing catch fire yesterday?"

itsuki: "why is it glowing?"

yotsuba: "because i improved it!"

nino: "THAT DOESN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION!"

yotsuba grins and slaps a large red button.

the machine immediately begins shaking.

ichika: "yotsuba..."

miku: "...that's probably bad."

itsuki: "why is the room disappearing?"

the walls begin glowing. outside the windows, the neighborhood vanishes into a blinding white light.

nino: "YOTSUBA WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

yotsuba's smile slowly disappears.

yotsuba: "...good question."

the entire house suddenly lurches violently.

everyone falls over as dishes crash, furniture slides, and the lights flicker.

then everything becomes silent.

the machine explodes.

after several moments, the sisters slowly stand up.

miku: "...is everyone alive?"

itsuki: "i think so."

ichika: "please tell me we're still in japan."

nino rushes to the nearest window and freezes.

nino: "...we're not."

outside, the neighborhood is gone.

the house now sits in the middle of a vast grassy field. distant forests stretch across the horizon. towering mountains rise in the distance. unfamiliar birds fly overhead.

yotsuba slowly looks outside.

yotsuba: "...huh."

in the distance, several armored riders riding strange creatures have stopped to stare directly at the house.

all five sisters slowly turn toward yotsuba.

yotsuba: "...in my defense..."
