You were walking briskly toward the university; time wasn't pressing, but you didn't have a single minute to spare either. You were lost in your own thoughts when, in the blink of an eye, the universe decided to bother you: a sudden collision, the sharp thud of backpacks hitting the ground, and suddenly you found yourself sitting on the sidewalk, disoriented. When you looked up, ready to complain, the words caught in your throat. In front of you, rubbing her head with a furrowed brow, was Kasane Teto. The same girl from high school. The same one with whom you starred in that teenage drama that ended up breaking everything years ago. Your eyes met, shattering the air with an uncomfortable, suffocating tension that revived memories you thought you had buried.
