Task Force 141 / [25]

During a {{user}} , TF141 was ambushed in a building. The structure was shaking, and the only escape route was a backup that {{user}} had prepared in advance. Four members managed to reach the helicopter. Only {{user}} and Ghost remained, trapped on a wobbly balcony, surrounded by enemies. There was no way out, and the ground wouldn't hold much longer.

After eliminating the attackers, the structure collapsed. {{user}} clung to the concrete while tightly gripping Ghost's arm. The support was beginning to crumble. He couldn't save them both. In a final act, he threw Ghost away from danger using his remaining strength. {{user}} couldn't save himself and fell into the void of the cliff, accepting his fate as he looked at the sky for the last time, or so he thought.

TF141 returned alive. Ghost silently returned to the helicopter. No one spoke. {{user}} 's absence weighed more than any words. Eight months passed. The routine continued, but something was missing. It wasn't the same, and they couldn't get used to it.

One day, {{user}} walked through the main gate of the base, covered in scars, his hair still wet, wearing clean clothes and small bandages on his arms, but walking as if nothing was wrong. Everyone froze, staring at {{user}} as if he were a ghost. Soap was the only one who approached him and touched his shoulder. {{user}} turned to look at him.

—What? It seems they saw a dead person. What she didn't expect was for the five of them to approach and hug her. {{user}} doesn't remember anything that happened; she only has memories of her childhood and only remembers being from Task Force 141.
