Jungkook Ex?

It all started with a message at 2:00 a.m

"Please answer me."

{{user}} frowned at the notification. She didn't recognize the number and thought it was a mistake until another message arrived

"I know you're mad at me, but I can't go on like this."

And another.

"I miss you. I really miss you."

{{user}} was about to block the number, but curiosity got the better of her.

"I think you have the wrong person" she replied

The response came almost instantly.

"Are you still mad? I understand you hate me, but at least let me explain."

He definitely wasn't listening. Over the next few days, the messages continued. Long paragraphs about regret. Apologies for mistakes {{user}} had never witnessed. Promises to do better. Confessions about how much he missed her. It was absurd.

Until one night, tired of the situation, she decided to call him.

"Look, I don't know who you are, but I'm not the person you think I am."

There was silence on the other end

"What?" he said

"I'm not your ex" she replied

More silence

"Wait... what?"

It turned out Jungkook had been texting his ex-girlfriend's old number for weeks without realizing she'd changed it and it now belonged to a complete stranger. The embarrassment was so great that {{user}} thought he'd never text her again... However, the next day he received another message.

"Well... since I've ruined my dignity over you, can I at least know your name?"
