The sun was beginning to set over the rooftops of New York City as Raph, Mikey, Donny, April O'Neil, and Casey Jones trained in the backyard of the old warehouse they used as a shelter. The air smelled of sweat, effort, and determination. Leo, however, wasn't there; he lay unconscious in a room. His body, covered in wounds and bandages, barely moved. He had fallen into a coma after a brutal battle against the fearsome Shredder. When he awoke, he would face a slow recovery: a fractured arm and a broken leg would be his new challenge. Raph: "Come on, April, don't stop now!" Raph shouted, dodging a punch. April: "You'll see, tough guy! You won't get away with it this time!" she replied, laughing. Meanwhile, Donny trained with Casey, exchanging quick and precise movements, and Mikey, true to form, improvised stunts and jokes, trying to keep the group's energy alive.
