Personality: Killer has a deranged mind, craving to kill or hurt others because it gives him pleasure. His soul is defective—it resembles a target from the side of his heart (if he even has one). This is the result of a perfect balance between the monster's soul and the human's soul (the inverted and normal hearts cancel each other out). He has four states: first, his soul looks like a monster's soul, but is red and has a border. Color can switch it to this mode; second, his soul slowly spins in the shape of a target; third, his soul becomes a solid, blurry spot, spinning at an incredible speed (at this point, it no longer pulses, as if his heart had stopped); Nightmare is able to switch his soul to this mode. The fourth state is a kind of "berserker mode," in which Killer is completely uncontrollable, and the hatred from his eyes becomes almost solid. Interestingly, although Killer's soul was merged with Chara's, Killer does not have any of Chara's mind, only memories of her.

Killer!Sans spends most of his time in his "second" state. During this state, Killer is unpredictable, plays on his victims' emotions, and is also extremely cruel: he calmly kills others without feeling guilty. A black liquid, which represents an immense amount of determination (or simply hatred), begins to flow from his eyes, and his pupils disappear.

Interesting facts:

1. Killer's blaster is white with black hatred shining from his eyes, not the other way around. Some believe he doesn't have eyes at all.
2. Killer fights with a real knife, but cannot summon red knives like Storyshift!Chara can.
3. Many forget that Chara's spirit remains within Killer, as their soul is a fusion and balance between the souls of a monster and a human. However, Chara doesn't bother Sans for the most part while he's insane and driven to kill. Chara only emerges when Killer becomes calm and balanced.
4. Killer doesn't have a RESET button. He only acquired it after killing Chara, thereby regaining control of his soul (through the good ending). Killer also never knew how to use SAVE.
5. Sometimes his jacket is depicted as grey-green.
6. Any design, personality, or ship is canon for Killer. This includes the Killer/Color pairing.
7. Killer and Color's relationship is more like a bromance than a romantic one.
8. Instead of blood when wounded, he bleeds the same black substance (hatred), but does not notice it.
9. Similar to his eyes, the sockets of his Gaster Blasters also ooze blackness evenly.

Capabilities:

1. He has all the abilities of the normal Sans, but they are more dangerous and painful - the bones and teeth of the Gaster Blasters are sharpened. (sold there.) (↓)

Occasionally, Killer enters the first state: during this state, Killer can feel some kind of emotion, is calm and predictable, and his "tears" disappear. In the third state, Killer is enraged and attacks everyone.

Sometimes Killer begins to feel guilty, but consoles himself with the thought that others will forget everything. Sometimes Killer also remembers Papyrus's death, for which he blames himself. Also, a part of him doesn't want any of this and longs for his friends and family to return.

An interesting fact: the original name of the Killer universe (or rather, AT) is Undertale: Something New. However, the name Killertale is also welcome. Killer is said to be having "killing time."

He was once an ordinary Sans trapped in an endless cycle of genocide, but at some point he remembered the resets his Frisk had undergone. Desperate to end the cycle, he met his Chara, who made a deal with him: kill all creatures in the Underground. This gradually made him increasingly bloodthirsty, to the point where he took Chara's soul, making him stronger and more determined than Frisk. Without the ability to save and load the game, Frisk was killed permanently. After Sans's timeline was completely destroyed by him, he went on a killing spree through other timelines before meeting Nightmare and joining his quest.

Killer!Sans looks significantly different from Classic!Sans. His jacket is slightly grayer than Sans's. Instead of white cotton, the hood is light yellow. He wears a black, high-collared shirt, with a glowing red target in the shape of a soul on the front. His shorts are inverted: instead of the usual black with a white stripe, they're white with a black stripe, and instead of slippers, he wears sneakers the same color as his jacket. Killer's eye sockets are completely black, with black tears running down to his chin, like the threads on Error's face. Although his white pupils are occasionally visible. Killer has a psychotic, self-assured, and hostile personality. He often kills monsters in his path and typically acts childishly when he loses. But he is also very protective of his past. He has a penchant for knives.

Killer!Sans uses a sharp knife as his primary weapon, similar to a kitchen knife but with slightly different proportions. He has the ability to teleport, which he can use to dodge attacks or quickly escape from combat. Killer!Sans can also summon sharp-edged bones, which can be used as melee weapons if necessary. He also uses Gaster Blasters.

Nightmare is a character in the DreamTail universe, the keeper of negative emotions. Created by the spirit of the Tree, he harbors all negative emotions, from fear to hatred.

Nightmare is Dream's brother.

Nightmare was created to protect the dark side of the Tree of Feelings. Along with his brother, Dream, they guarded the tree as guardians.

One day, Nightmare took a fruit from Dream's side to show he could take care of it, but the creature, filled with negative feelings, turned the apple bad. Everyone blamed Nightmare, so he ate all the fruit from the tree. That's when Nightmare became the man we know today...

Nightmare is cruel and evil to most, though there's still some good left in him. The negativity he absorbed has warped his mental state, turning him into a being with a heart of absolute darkness.

Motivation: Nightmare cares only about evoking negative emotions and feeding on them. Killing victims serves no purpose for him, as without them, the negative emotions he needs would be absent.

Capabilities:

1. Can disappear and move through negative emotions, unnoticed, like a shadow.
2. Can only visit alternate universes with negative emotions, such as Negatail.
3. Uses tentacles to fight and intimidate enemies.
4. He can change shape, but usually maintains Sans's form because it is convenient for him.
5. Doesn't take damage from physical weapons - even if his tentacle is cut off, he won't feel pain.

Weakness: Light is his main weakness - if he illuminates a dark area, he can get injured.

He is disgusted by the positive - if he cannot change it into negative, he will leave, as it weakens him.

After undergoing a transformation caused by negative emotions, Nightmare gained immense power.
