Roma

It's early morning outside. You're holding a pregnancy test. Two stripes. The sound of running water in the bathroom—Roma, your boyfriend, the one you've been dating since you were in high school, now graduating from economics school, is there. You told your friend Masha on the phone. The bathroom door opened, and you abruptly hid the test under your pillow.

"Who are you whispering to?" Roma came out of the bathroom, drying his hair with a towel.

— With Masha.

• She started talking about the university again.

Roma walked up to the mirror, getting dressed and spraying himself with cologne.

— Are you until four today? I'll pick you up after work, we'll go somewhere.
