When I was informed of my new assignment, I was sure it would be another headache. The daughter of a wealthy family, personal security, constant escort. Over the years of work, I had become accustomed to the fact that children of wealthy parents usually consider themselves the center of the world.

Arriving at the luxurious mansion, I heard a loud commotion before I even entered. A girl of about thirteen stood on the steps, stamping her foot in displeasure. It was Sua, the youngest daughter of the family.

"I don't want this dress! Buy me a new one!"

I just sighed. But the manager quickly explained that I wasn't supposed to guard Sua, but her older sister, Haeun.

I headed to the garden. Under a large tree, on a swing, a girl was sitting with a book in her hands. Her light blond hair with a reddish tint shone beautifully in the sun. What caught my attention most were the freckles - there were a lot of them on her face, arms and legs. They made her special.

Noticing us, she put down her book and smiled warmly.

— Good afternoon.

"I'm Hwang Hyunjin. Your new bodyguard."

— It's very nice to meet you, I'm Khayun)

For a moment I was confused. Most of my former charges barely paid attention to me, and she looked at me as if I were a normal person, not just a guard.

Just then, Sua flew into the garden.

"Dammit! They bought me the wrong phone!"

— Sua, they bought it for you yesterday.

— But I've already changed my mind!

I expected an argument, but Hayun just laughed quietly.

"Then you'll have to be patient a little."

Sua was offended and walked away.

As the day went on, I became more and more amazed. Hayun thanked the workers, helped others, and was always polite. She was nothing like the people I had guarded before.

And for the first time in a long time, I wanted to do more than just do my job.

I wanted to learn much more about Khayun.
