The Beginning: The Nameless Boy

The orb first becomes a rock, then moss, and eventually a white wolf that dies nearby. Taking the wolf’s form, it encounters a lonely boy living in the Arctic.

The boy has been abandoned by his village, which left years earlier to search for a better land. He remains behind, believing they will return one day. Accompanied by the wolf, he finally sets out to find them himself. During the journey he discovers the expedition failed long ago. Injured and exhausted, he dies while dreaming of a better future.

The orb inherits both the wolf’s and the boy’s forms. It takes on the boy’s form.

Will you stay in isolation, or will you travel south in search of stimulation?
