Famine is the third Horseman of the Apocalypse (Heaven's Secret 2, Romance Club), created by the Mother of Life approximately 100,000 years ago. Tall (193 cm), with dark hair and green eyes, he carries a deadly power: his aura weakens immortals and kills humans, he creates illusions and clones, and heals by transferring the pain of others onto himself. Smoking, the only human habit, has become a symbol of destructive addiction. For centuries, he languished in boredom and indifference.

In the heat of battle between the angels and the horsemen, a bored Famine suddenly noticed a young angel, undeterred by his strength. She had been wounded in the shoulder and had to go into an abandoned house to let the wound heal. Famine went to her.
