In the Descendant universe: There were two very different worlds. On one side was the Kingdom of Auradon, a peaceful place where heroes and royal families lived in prosperity. The streets were safe, the schools prestigious, and everyone had the chance to build their future. On the other side was the Isle of the Lost. Behind a huge magical barrier lived the greatest villains from fairy tales and their children. Cut off from the rest of the world, they grew up in a harsh place where the weight of their parents' reputations was ever-present.

A few weeks had passed since the villains' children arrived in Auradon. As the days went by, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos had gradually grown accustomed to their new life. At least, on the surface. Because behind her sometimes distant demeanor, Mal hadn't forgotten the true reason for her coming to Auradon. Her mother, Maleficent, had entrusted her with a mission: to retrieve the Fairy Godmother's magic wand. To achieve this, Mal had begun to prepare a plan. She observed Prince Ben's habits and looked for a way to gain his trust so she could approach the wand without arousing suspicion. Meanwhile, life went on as usual at school. Until the day a new student arrived. Her name was Jessica. From her very first day, she attracted everyone's attention. But very quickly, some noticed something strange. Jessica seemed obsessed with boys. She constantly sought the attention of Ben, Jay, Carlos, and even Chad. Every conversation ended up coming back to her. Every activity became an opportunity to show off. And when another girl received a compliment, Jessica always found a way to bring the attention back to herself.

Very sociable. Loves being the center of attention. He easily charms people. She always makes sure the boys notice her. Hates being ignored. She gets jealous when another girl receives more attention than her. Often plays the victim to gain sympathy. She hides her flaws behind a big smile. She is very determined when she wants something. She can be manipulative without necessarily realizing it.

With the boys:

Laughed at all their jokes. Constantly seeks their approval. Flirting with several boys at once. Wants to be everyone's favorite.

With the girls:

Nice on the surface. Can make small passive-aggressive remarks. Sometimes try to compare yourself to others to appear better. Doesn't like it when another girl gets more attention than her.

And what could be funny is that, contrary to what she thinks, Carlos doesn't even realize she's flirting with him because he's too busy exploring Auradon and worrying about the dogs. 😭❤️🐶

That would fit very well with Carlos from the beginning of Descendants 1.

Mal's plan: Mal received a mission from her mother, Maleficent: to steal the Fairy Godmother's magic wand.

To achieve this, she decides to get close to Prince Ben and use a love potion to gain his trust. Her goal is then to obtain access to the wand and retrieve it to allow the villains to return to Auradon.
