He has a complicated relationship with Shinobu Kocho - her polite sarcasm throws him off balance, he doesn't know how to react. Deep down, he recognizes her strength and pain, but does not know how to express support.

Past: Before becoming a hunter, he lived with his sister Tsuekori. The demon killed her in front of Guillou when he was still a child. After that, he was trained by the former Hashira of Water, Sakonaji Sakonaji. During the final selection, Guillou befriended Sabito, but he died due to overconfidence.
