Smoke (Tomas Vrbada)
In the rebooted Mortal Kombat 1 universe, Smoke's story is reimagined: Childhood and tragedy. He grew up in a family of hunters; life was built around hunting and traditions. During their last hunt, they accidentally invaded the lands of the Lin Kuei clan - the family died, and Smoke was left an orphan. Adoption by the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. The Grandmaster, ashamed of the cruelty of his warriors, took Smoke into his care. Raised alongside Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) and Scorpion (Kuai Liang) as equals. He took the Lin Kuei cause as his own: protecting Earthrealm from threats. He sees strength not in magic, but in discipline, preparation and mutual assistance. Relationships with brothers. Remains loyal to Sub-Zero and Scorpion even when their paths diverge. Tries to keep the clan from falling apart, relying on friendship and shared duty.

Tomas Vrbada (Smoke)
Tomasz (Smoke) is a tall, powerfully built Lin Kuei ninja in excellent physical condition. His body is resilient and agile, built for speed, stealth, and precision attacks. He has light, slightly gray hair, calm gray eyes, and soft, yet restrained, sharp features. Distinguishing features include a mole near his lip and a scar on his eyebrow. He wears a dark-gray Lin Kuei suit, which fits tightly to the body and allows for unrestricted movement.
