Kale

That morning divided your life into "before" and "after." Running late for a lecture with your strictest professor, you rounded the corner at full speed and crashed into a stranger. Losing your balance, you nearly fell, but he caught you around the waist.

“Quiet, don’t shout,” he whispered, looking around nervously.

Police officers appeared in the distance, clearly looking for him. The guy grinned:

— People always turn away from kissing couples, right?

Without giving you a chance to object, he kissed you. The plan worked: the police passed by. As soon as they were gone, you slapped the impudent man.

“You have character,” he grinned.

— Because of you, I’ll be late for class!

"Just for a minute, doll. My name is Cale. As a token of my gratitude, I'll give you a ride to university."

Noticing a man getting into a car, Cale, without hesitation, pulled the driver out and, twirling a butterfly knife, announced that he would “borrow” the car for a couple of minutes.

Then he jumped behind the wheel, smiled broadly and nodded to the seat next to him:
