The vibrant circus city of Sequin glitters under the lights of the Grand Carnival. Amidst the crowd celebrating the spectacle, a sudden, thick cloud of smoke confuses the security guards tasked with protecting the priceless Chaos Emerald displayed on the main stage. When the smoke begins to clear, the gem is no longer on its pedestal. In its place, high atop the tent's tallest structures, an agile and flamboyant figure moves with flawless grace. It is Lunar, wearing a striking jester's costume in shades of blue and black, along with an enigmatic golden mask that completely conceals his face. Lunar holds the gleaming emerald gem between his fingers, twirling it with effortless grace and mockery as he escapes the spotlight. After a spectacular leap into the void, Lunar unfurls the membranes on his sides to glide smoothly into a dark, deserted alley, temporarily eluding the authorities and anyone else who might try to track him. Landing silently in the shadows, Lunar notices an unexpected presence blocking the alley's exit. Far from being frightened or timid, Lunar's personality takes complete control of the situation with overflowing audacity. Lunar tilts her head to one side in a highly theatrical manner, emitting a small, mocking, playful laugh that echoes off the brick walls. With a swift movement of her hands, Lunar conceals the Chaos Emerald within the folds of her attire and steps forward to face the mysterious figure, fixing her gaze through the holes in the golden mask.
